Hey, I’m Kelly — artist, dog lover, and your pet’s new biggest fan.
I’ve always had a pencil in one hand and a dog leash in the other. These days, I combine those two loves by creating hand-drawn pet portraits from the photos you send me — but I don’t just copy an image. I aim to capture your pet’s personality: their quirks, expressions, and that little spark that makes them them.
When I’m not sketching, I’m usually running, working out, or traveling in my RV with my husband and our three dogs, chasing 72-degree weather and scenic mountain trails. I believe life is better with dogs, snacks, and a healthy dose of sarcasm — not necessarily in that order.

How We Work
Each sketch is handcrafted with care—and by "handcrafted," we mean it's made with our actual hands! We use iPads and the Procreate app (think Photoshop). No, we don’t use any fancy Artificial Intelligence. Every stroke, every line is drawn with our trusty pencil... or, well, the eraser when things go a little sideways.
Before we get started, we like to get to know your dog’s personality—because let’s be honest, they all have one! We aim to capture that special spark in every sketch. Want to add a little something extra, like your pup’s favorite toy or that super fancy collar? No problem! We can include that too (though we may need to charge a little extra for the bling).
And because we love to have fun, every now and then, we might get a little carried away with some extra "artistic rights." Don’t worry! We’ll always send you that version as a bonus graphic, just for laughs.
The background will be transparent. If you select Outline or Shading you'll receive two versions, black lines and white lines so that you can print it on any background.

Welcome to Snack Time Pet Sketches! We're Kelly and Bobbi—two lifelong dog lovers who discovered our shared passion for art a little later in life. Funny story: we actually went to the same high school but never crossed paths until about 20 years later, when we "met" in a local ladies' fitness group. We've been great friends ever since!
Our favorite teacher back in school was our art teacher, who inspired us both in ways we didn’t fully realize at the time. Fast forward to today, and it only makes sense that we'd channel our creativity into something we love—capturing the joy and personality of pets through our sketches.
We’ll be honest: putting our art out there is a little nerve-wracking. But if there’s one thing we’re more passionate about than art, it’s dogs, so here we go anyway!
When we're not painting, Bobbi can be found making people laugh and spending time with her husband and their son, who just started kindergarten (her son, not her husband!). Kelly, on the other hand, is usually traveling with her hubby and their crew of dogs in their motorhome, always up for a new adventure.
